About the role
We are looking for an experienced Senior Node.js Developer with 8+ years of software development experience to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Node.js, web technologies, API integrations, and Agile development practices. You will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable applications while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using Node.js .
- Build responsive and user-friendly web interfaces using HTML, CSS, and jQuery.
- Design, develop, and implement system integrations using REST APIs, third-party APIs, and middleware.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, QA engineers, and other developers to deliver robust software solutions.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and backlog refinement.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following engineering best practices.
- Stay up to date with emerging technologies and proactively adopt new tools and frameworks where appropriate.
Requirements:
- 8+ years of professional software development experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with Node.js .
- Experience in web development using HTML, CSS, and jQuery.
- Experience designing and implementing system integrations using APIs and middleware.
- Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and integration patterns.
- Experience working in Agile environments (Scrum or Kanban).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
- Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies.
