We are looking for an experienced Software Development Engineer who's excited to build innovative technologies that define the future of live streaming. Responsibilities:
- Provide technical leadership and vision to the experiences and services teams.
- Ensure that the best engineering practices are followed and that our software is designed to be responsive, reliable, and maintainable.
- Work closely with other teams in Prime Video and Amazon to architect solutions that will scale to hundreds of millions of customers.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience.
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
- 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
- Experience programming with at least one modern language, such as Java, C++, or C#, including object-oriented design.
