About the role
An SFDC (Salesforce) Automation Engineer is responsible for testing and automating the functionality of Salesforce applications. The role focuses on creating automated test scripts to validate Salesforce features, integrations, and workflows to ensure high-quality CRM systems.
The Salesforce Automation Engineer designs and implements automation frameworks to test Salesforce (SFDC) applications such as Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and custom Salesforce implementations. They collaborate with developers, admins, and QA teams to ensure reliable releases.
- Develop and maintain automation test scripts for Salesforce applications.
- Automate UI testing for Salesforce using Selenium or other automation tools.
- Perform functional, regression, and integration testing.
- Validate Salesforce workflows, triggers, reports, and dashboards.
- Perform API testing for Salesforce integrations.
- Create and maintain automation frameworks.
- Integrate automated tests with CI/CD pipelines.
- Work closely with Salesforce developers and admins to resolve defects.
- Maintain test cases, documentation, and test reports.
- Ensure data accuracy and system reliability in Salesforce environments.
