Job Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all accounting transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll salary processing.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements (balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements).
- Reconcile bank statements and other financial accounts regularly.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles and company policies.
- Support internal and external audits.
- Identify and resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities.
- Provide guidance and support to junior accounting staff.
- Prepare and file statutory returns (e.g., GST, TDS, PF, ESIC) accurately and on time.
Qualification and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce or MBA(Finance)
- Professional qualification (e.g., CA, CPA, CMA) preferred.
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in a similar accounting role.
- Experience with accounting software (e.g., Tally, SAP, Oracle Financials, ERP).
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
