Job Title: Senior Software Engineer (Ensemble - Samson)

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer with strong expertise in C development, Oracle databases, and Oracle Tuxedo environments. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of Ensemble-Samson applications, particularly across CSM, Billing, AR, and Usage Processing domains. The role requires hands-on development, production support, root cause analysis, low-level design (LLD), and technical leadership in resolving complex issues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, enhance, and maintain applications using C programming language.
- Work extensively on Ensemble-Samson platform and associated business processes.
- Demonstrate deep functional and technical expertise in at least one of the following areas:
- Customer Service Management (CSM)
- Billing
- Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Usage Processing
- Perform detailed analysis, coding, testing, and deployment of application enhancements.
- Create and maintain Low-Level Design (LLD) documents for development initiatives.
- Analyze complex production issues and lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) activities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Optimize database performance through efficient SQL development and query tuning.
- Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to development standards and best practices.
- Support application releases and production deployments.
- Utilize GitLab for source code management, version control, and CI-CD activities.
Required Skills & Expertise:
- 6 to 9 years of hands-on C development experience.
- Strong experience with Oracle Database and SQL.
- Experience working in Oracle Tuxedo environments.
- Strong knowledge of Ensemble-Samson applications.
- Deep expertise in at least one of the following domains:
- CSM
- Billing
- Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Usage Processing
- Proven experience in troubleshooting complex production issues.
- Strong experience leading Root Cause Analysis (RCA) activities.
- Experience preparing and reviewing Low-Level Design (LLD) documents.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong debugging and performance tuning capabilities.
Additional Technical Skills:
- Experience with GitLab for source code management and CI-CD processes.
- Exposure to Telecom-BSS domain and billing systems.
- Knowledge of production support and incident management.
