Senior Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled 7+ years of experienced, Software Tester with expertise in Selenium, Java, BDD, and Cucumber to join our dynamic software development team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and performance of our software applications through automated testing. This position requires a strong understanding of testing methodologies and a passion for delivering high-quality software solutions.

• Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using Selenium and Java.
• Implement Behavior Driven Development (BDD) practices using Cucumber to enhance collaboration between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Analyze requirements and create detailed test plans and test cases based on functional specifications.
• Identify, document, and track defects using appropriate tools, ensuring timely resolution.
• Collaborate with developers and product owners to understand application features and provide feedback on testability.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes.
• Maintain and enhance existing test automation frameworks to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
• Provide regular status updates and reports on testing progress and results to stakeholders.
• Stay current with industry trends and best practices in software testing and automation.

• Proficiency in Selenium with Java for automated testing.
• Strong understanding of BDD principles and experience with Cucumber.
• Solid knowledge of software testing methodologies and best practices.
• Experience in writing clear and comprehensive test cases and test scripts.
• Familiarity with defect tracking tools and test management software.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

• Experience with other testing frameworks and tools.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and participation in Agile ceremonies.
• Familiarity with performance testing tools.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and integration of automated tests.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Relevant certifications in software testing or quality assurance are a plus.
