About the role
We are looking for a Senior Quality Engineering Automation Specialist to join a small, dynamic Agile/Scrum feature team. You will plan and undertake end-to-end test activities, including test script development, test execution, and defect management.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop Test Strategies, Test Plans, and Test Reporting frameworks for Product, Integration, Technical, and Deployment test streams.
- Design and execute detailed functional test cases for complex requirements.
- Work collaboratively with Test Managers, Product Managers, BAs, and Developers to assess test scenarios using risk-based testing methodologies.
- Drive process improvements, optimize delivery, and proactively flag/mitigate risks in an ambiguous environment.
- Ensure Test Delivery Assurance complying with standard enterprise tools and frameworks.
Requirements:
- 7+ years of overall experience in QA, with at least 4+ years specializing in Selenium BDD frameworks.
- Deep expertise in Python automation (Selenium, Python Behave / Specflow).
- Proven experience in QA Automation of Web Applications, Web Services, and REST APIs.
- Strong foundation in SDLC, manual testing methodologies, and test case design/execution.
Optional/Good to Have:
- Experience with version control systems like GIT or TFS.
- Database knowledge (SQL).
- Experience testing Salesforce applications.
- Degree in Computer Science or an equivalent field.
