About the role
Requirements:
- 4+ years of hands-on experience in Java development with strong expertise in Spring Boot and microservices architecture.
- Strong understanding of distributed systems, load balancing, fault tolerance, and resilient application design.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as GCP or AWS.
- Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Strong knowledge of relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL/DataStore, including performance optimization and query tuning.
- Experience with event-driven architectures and messaging systems such as Apache Kafka or Google Cloud Pub/Sub.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code, and automated deployment strategies.
- Proficiency in code versioning tools such as Git, GitHub, and GitLab.
- Experience with application monitoring, logging, and observability tools, including Grafana, Datadog, and Loki.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, debugging, and performance optimization skills.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
- Ability to leverage AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot.
AI & Modern Engineering Experience (Good to have):
- Experience integrating LLMs (Large Language Models) or generative AI.
- Exposure to AI frameworks and tools such as Spring AI, OpenAI APIs, and similar AI platforms.
- Understanding of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures
- Familiarity with AI observability, prompt engineering, model evaluation, and responsible AI best practices.
