About the role

The core responsibilities for the job include the following:

Backend Development:

Develop and maintain backend services and APIs primarily using Node.js .
Contribute to building scalable and efficient applications.
Work with frontend teams where required to support full-stack development needs.

Code Quality and Collaboration:

Write clean, maintainable, and well-structured code following best practices.
Participate in code reviews and collaborate with team members to improve code quality.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver features on time.

Problem Solving and Debugging:

Security and Best Practices:

Implement authentication and authorization mechanisms to ensure secure access to applications.
Follow security and development best practices across services.

DevOps and Deployment:

Containerize services using Docker and manage deployments on Kubernetes.
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and releases.
Monitor production systems, set up logging and alerting, and participate in incident response.

Requirements:

7+ years of experience in Node.js development.
Experience with any one of the Node.js frameworks: Fastify, Express, or NestJS.
Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
Familiarity with authentication and authorization mechanisms.
Hands-on experience with DevOps practices, including Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD tools (e. g., GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins).
Working knowledge of at least one cloud platform (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and infrastructure monitoring tools.
Good problem-solving and debugging skills.
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
Background in designing scalable architectures for SaaS or CRM products is highly beneficial.
Ability to work on-site in Indore, collaborate in cross-functional teams, and mentor junior developers.
Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
