About the role
We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer - Backend with strong expertise in. NET and C#, who can design and build scalable backend systems. This role focuses on developing high-performance APIs, working with databases, and leveraging cloud technologies to deliver robust enterprise applications.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using C# and. NET Core.
- Build and optimize RESTful APIs and microservices architectures.
- Work with databases like MongoDB and PostgreSQL for efficient data storage and retrieval.
- Ensure high performance, reliability, and scalability of backend systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including frontend, DevOps, and product teams.
- Implement best practices in coding, testing, and system design.
- Participate in code reviews, mentoring junior engineers, and improving engineering standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues efficiently.
Requirements:
- 6-10 years of experience in software development (backend-focused).
- Strong proficiency in C# and. NET Core.
- Experience with MongoDB and PostgreSQL.
- Solid understanding of microservices architecture and REST APIs.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP).
- Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and design patterns.
- Experience in building scalable and distributed systems.
- Good problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- BE / BTech / ME / MTech in Computer Science or a related field.
