excellence. As a Senior Cloud Engineer within Cloud Kinetics’ Proserv PoD, you will be embedded in AWS ProServ engagements, leading infrastructure build activities, executing cloud migration

workstreams, and implementing infrastructure-as-code (IaC) frameworks. You will work closely with

Solutions Architects, Migration Leads, and customer engineering teams to drive technical delivery

that meets AWS best practices and customer success criteria.

  • Build and configure managed services including RDS, Aurora, ElastiCache, S3, EFS, and FSx as part of application and data platform migrations.
  •  Deploy containerised workloads using Amazon ECS and EKS, configuring cluster infrastructure, node groups, IAM roles, and networking for production-ready environments.
  • Collaborate with Solutions Architects to ensure infrastructure implementations match approved
  • Design blueprints and AWS Well-Architected best practices.

Cloud Migration Execution

  • Execute cloud migration activities including server migrations using AWS Application Migration Service (MGN), database migrations using AWS DMS, and storage migrations using AWS DataSync and Transfer Family.
  • Perform pre-migration assessments, replication environment setup, test cutovers, and final migration cutover activities with minimal customer downtime.
  • Conduct post-migration validation including application health checks, connectivity testing, performance benchmarking, and DNS cutover management.
  • Support lift-and-shift, re-platforming, and re-architecting migration patterns across a diverse range of customer workloads and environments.
  • Document migration runbooks, cutover plans, and post-migration configuration records for handover to customer operations teams.

Infrastructure-as-Code & Automation

  •  Develop and maintain IaC templates using Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, and/or AWS CDK to provision and manage cloud infrastructure in a repeatable, version-controlled manner.
  • Build automation scripts using Python, Bash, or PowerShell to streamline operational tasks, deployment workflows, and infrastructure lifecycle management.
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines using AWS CodePipeline, CodeBuild, CodeDeploy, or third-party tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI) to automate infrastructure deployment and application release processes.
  • Apply GitOps principles and maintain infrastructure repositories with clear branching strategies, peer review processes, and documentation standards.

Monitoring, Security & Compliance

  • Configure and implement monitoring and observability solutions using Amazon CloudWatch, AWS CloudTrail, AWS Config, and third-party tools (Datadog, New Relic, Grafana).
  • Implement AWS security best practices including IAM roles and policies, SCPs, security groups, NACLs, KMS encryption, Secrets Manager, and GuardDuty.
  • Support security and compliance reviews including Well-Architected Framework Security Pillar assessments, CIS benchmarks, and customer-specific compliance requirements.
  • Configure AWS Cost Explorer, Budgets, and tagging strategies to enable cost visibility, governance, and optimization across customer environments.

Delivery Collaboration & Documentation

  • Work within Agile/Scrum delivery frameworks, participating in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives as part of AWS ProServ engagement teams.
  • Collaborate closely with Solutions Architects, Project Managers, and customer technical teams to ensure infrastructure delivery aligns with project timelines and milestones.
  •  Produce technical documentation including infrastructure diagrams, build guides, runbooks, and operational handover documents to support customer knowledge transfer.
  • Contribute to the development of reusable accelerators, IaC modules, and delivery templates that improve efficiency across Cloud Kinetics ProServ engagements.
