About the role
• Design and implement a Data Mesh–like architecture to support decentralized data ownership and facilitate data sharing across domains • Create, manage, and maintain data domain models to ensure consistency, scalability, and alignment with business needs • Drive the development of data products and establish best practices for data sharing across the organization • Design and implement data models using Medallion Architectures, Dimensional Models, DataVaults, and other data modeling techniques • Work with various data serialization formats (e.g., Avro, Parquet, JSON) and query engines to optimize data storage and retrieval • Write clear and concise technical concepts and documentation in fluent English to communicate architecture decisions and strategies to both technical and non-technical stakeholders Required Skills, Education, Knowledge and Experience:
• Proven experience in designing and implementing Data Mesh or similar architectures • Expertise in Azure and Databricks • Experience in developing data products and establishing data-sharing protocols • Strong background in data modeling, including Medallion Architectures, Dimensional Models, and DataVaults • Proficiency in working with data serialization formats and query engines • Excellent technical writing skills with the ability to articulate complex concepts in fluent English • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
