Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced Technical Architect to lead the design and implementation of data integration and database solutions using SSIS and Azure SQL Server hosted on Virtual Machines The ideal candidate will have deep technical expertise in SQL Server Azure infrastructure and enterprise data architecture
Key Responsibilities
Design and architect scalable data integration solutions using SQL Server Integration Services SSIS
Lead the deployment and optimization of SQL Server on Azure VMs ensuring performance security and availability
Collaborate with stakeholders to define technical requirements and translate them into architectural designs
Develop and enforce best practices for ETL processes data migration and data transformation
Ensure high availability and disaster recovery configurations for SQL Server on Azure VMs
Integrate SSIS packages with cloudbased services and automate workflows using Azure Data Factory PowerShell or Azure Automation
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development and operations teams
Conduct performance tuning capacity planning and cost optimization for Azurehosted SQL environments
Maintain documentation of architecture configurations and operational procedures
Required Skills Qualifications
8 years of experience in SQL Server database architecture and administration
5 years of handson experience with SSIS for ETL and data integration
Strong experience deploying and managing SQL Server on Azure VMs
Proficiency in TSQL PowerShell and Azure CLI
Solid understanding of Azure networking security and monitoring tools
Experience with high availability backup strategies and disaster recovery in cloud environments
Preferred Qualifications
Microsoft Certified Azure Solutions Architect Expert or Azure Database Administrator Associate
Experience with Azure Data Factory Azure Monitor and Key Vault
Familiarity with DevOps practices and CICD pipelines for database deployments
