About the role
- You'll conduct various studies for utility scale solar and/or BESS projects.
- Load flow, Transient stability, Short circuits, Arc flash, Equipment evaluation, Protection coordination, Harmonics, Lightning risk assessment etc.
- You'll closely collaborate with the project managers, enabling them to effectively communicate with our customers, utility companies/contractors, administrative/government agencies etc.
- You'll assist with responding to RFPs, conduct feasibility studies as needed.
- You'll be innovative and proactive in providing solutions/solution approaches.
- You'll perform other related duties on special projects as assigned, while working with other teams to ensure clients’ needs and internal deadlines are met.
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in electrical engineering
- 3+ years of experience with conducting various power studies, including those listed above.
- Experience with ETAP, PSCAD.
- Expertise in technical aspects of Solar Modules, Inverters, mounting systems & BoS.
- Ability to work under minimal supervision and resolve issues independently based on project/company standards.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven record of good judgment and analytical skills.
- Ability to effectively communicate with engineering, construction, and customer facing teams.
Great to have:
- Experience with executing utility scale projects in North America.
