About the Role:
Key Responsibilities
On-Site Leadership: Direct day-to-day operations, community liasoning, and technical inputs at the project sites.
Planning & Scheduling: Develop baseline schedules, resource plans, and work timelines to deliver the project on budget and schedule.
Vendor & Stakeholder Management: Manage contractors, local agencies, forest department staff, and field labor.
Team Supervision: Directly lead, mentor, and monitor the 2 Field Associates assigned to the sites.
Quality & Safety Assurance: Ensure all field equipment installations (camera traps, acoustic meters, sampling techniques), and safety protocols meet project specifications.
Progress Documentation & Reporting: Deliver and document regular progress updates, and site risk evaluations to the internal team.
Requirements
Key Qualifications & Skills
Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Life Sciences, Wildlife Studies, Environmental Sciences, Ecology, Forestry, Horticulture, Botany, Zoology
Experience: Minimum 2-3 years in wildlife conservation, restoration, plantation work, vegetation surveys, or community engagement projects.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in project scheduling tools (MS Office, basic GIS software, KOBO or similar), team management, field execution.
Willingness to learn: An enthusiasm to pick up new tools readily and skills while on the job and use these to execute project requirements and deliverables.
Location Constraint:Must be based in or willing to relocate immediately to Chandrapur/ northern side of Tadoba, with a strong preference for candidates comfortable managing outdoor site operations under extreme field conditions.

Compensation & Work Conditions
Salary: Competitive and commensurate with experience, range - 6.48 to 8.98 Lakhs Per Annum (INR).
Work Hours: Standard site operating hours; requires flexibility during intensive execution phases.
