About the role
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle debt accounting activities in accordance with US GAAP, including interest accruals and related entries.
- Perform general ledger accounting activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
- Support month-end and period-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Prepare and review balance sheet schedules and supporting documentation.
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
- Assist in preparation of financial statements and management reports.
- Support internal and external audits by providing required data and explanations.
- Identify process gaps and support continuous improvement initiatives within finance operations.
Requirements
- CA Qualified, CA Inter, or CA Final candidates with 1+ years of relevant accounting experience.
- Strong hands-on experience in Debt Accounting under US GAAP.
- Solid understanding of General Ledger processes and financial close cycles.
- Good analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting systems.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
