About the role
We are looking for a Full Stack Engineer to design, build, and ship scalable web applications and backend services. You will work across the stack, building high-performance services in Golang and Python and responsive user interfaces in React, and you will own features from design through production.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs in Golang and Python.
- Build clean, responsive, high-performance front-end interfaces using React.
- Own features end-to-end: requirements, design, development, testing, deployment, and monitoring.
- Design RESTful APIs and microservices with scalability, reliability, and security in mind.
- Design and optimize database schemas and queries (relational and NoSQL).
- Write clean, testable, well-documented code and take part in code reviews.
- Debug and resolve production issues, and improve system performance and observability.
- Work closely with product, design, and QA teams to deliver high-quality releases.
- Contribute to architecture decisions and engineering best practices.
Requirements:
- Education: B. Tech / M. Tech / Dual Degree from an IIT.
- 7 to 10 years of hands-on experience in full-stack development.
- Strong proficiency in Golang (concurrency, goroutines, channels, building services, and APIs).
- Strong proficiency in Python (Flask, FastAPI, or Django).
- Solid experience with React (hooks, state management, component design), plus JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
- Good understanding of data structures, algorithms, system design, and OOP principles.
- Experience with SQL databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and at least one NoSQL store (MongoDB/Redis).
- Experience building and consuming REST APIs; knowledge of gRPC or GraphQL is a plus.
- Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile development.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- B. Tech / M. Tech / Dual Degree from an IIT (mandatory).
Good to Have:
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure).
- Experience with message queues and event-driven systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ).
- Knowledge of microservices architecture and distributed systems.
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).
- Contributions to open-source projects or a strong competitive programming background.
