About the role
Quality Management Develop, implement, and maintain quality control processes and procedures. Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, IATF 16949, AS9100, or other applicable quality standards. Monitor product quality and process capability through statistical analysis and quality metrics. Establish and maintain quality assurance documentation, control plans, SOPs, and work instructions. Process Improvement Lead continuous improvement projects using Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and other quality methodologies. Identify process variations and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA). Reduce defects, rework, scrap, and customer complaints through systematic problem-solving. Customer Quality Management Handle customer complaints and lead resolution activities. Conduct root cause analysis using tools such as 8D, 5 Why, Fishbone Diagram, FMEA, and Pareto Analysis. Coordinate customer audits and ensure timely closure of corrective actions. Supplier Quality Support supplier qualification, development, and performance evaluation. Participate in supplier audits and drive quality improvement initiatives with suppliers. Monitor incoming material quality and supplier corrective actions. Audits & Compliance Plan and conduct internal quality audits. Support external, customer, and certification audits. Ensure compliance with regulatory, safety, and customer-specific requirements. Team Leadership Mentor junior quality engineers and inspectors. Facilitate quality training programs across departments. Promote a culture of quality and continuous improvement within the organization. Data Analysis & Reporting Analyze quality trends and prepare management reports. Monitor KPIs such as PPM, COPQ, First Pass Yield, Customer Complaints, and Audit Findings. Present quality performance updates to management and stakeholders.
