About the role
The candidate will be responsible for leading the QA function while remaining technically hands-on. This is not just a people-management role.
Responsibilities:
- QA Strategy: Define and implement QA processes, frameworks, tools, and testing strategies.
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of QA engineers.
- Agent-Based Automation: This is a critical requirement. The candidate should have hands-on experience with agent-based/autonomous or semi-autonomous testing frameworks, including maintaining, troubleshooting, scaling, and upgrading them.
- Test Automation: Build and maintain automation for functional testing, API testing, performance testing, and regression testing
- End-to-End Testing: Own testing across functional, regression, UAT, scalability, and performance.
- Cross-functional work: Work closely with product, engineering, and management teams.
- QA Metrics: Track quality metrics and use data to improve QA processes.
- Technical Problem Solving: Handle complex defects and troubleshooting.
Requirements:
- Experience: 8+ years.
- Primary Focus: QA Leadership + Automation + Agentic/AI-Based Testing.
