About the role
We are looking for an experienced Senior Pricing Specialist with strong expertise in freight forwarding pricing, rate negotiation, and inside sales support. The ideal candidate should have in-depth knowledge of the freight forwarding market, the ability to independently manage pricing requirements, and experience developing competitive pricing strategies to support business growth.
Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end pricing activities for import and export freight forwarding requirements.
- Prepare competitive quotations for air freight and ocean freight shipments.
- Negotiate rates with shipping lines, airlines, overseas agents, and service providers.
- Coordinate with the sales and operations teams to provide timely pricing solutions.
- Maintain and update freight rate sheets and pricing databases.
- Analyse market trends, competitor pricing, and freight rate fluctuations.
- Support the inside sales team with quotations, customer queries, and commercial proposals.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and overseas partners.
- Ensure accurate pricing and timely submission of quotations to clients.
