About the role

As a Senior Product Designer, you will own the design of complex, high-impact workflows for Hevo's data platform. You'll work closely with product, engineering, and customers to turn ambiguous problems into simple, intuitive experiences for technical users. You'll also play a key role in evolving Hevo's design system and shaping how AI-native experiences are designed across the product.

Responsibilities:

  • Own product design end-to-end, from research and problem framing to final shipped experiences.
  • Design complex workflows for data engineers, analysts, and enterprise users.
  • Create user journeys, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs.
  • Partner closely with Product and Engineering to develop and ship solutions.
  • Extend and maintain Hevo's design system for consistency and scalability.
  • Design for complex states, edge cases, accessibility, errors, and recovery scenarios.
  • Use product data, customer feedback, and user behaviour to measure and improve shipped experiences.
  • Advocate for high-quality UX and raise the design bar across the team.
  • Design AI-native experiences, including agents, recommendations, generation, automation, and human-in-the-loop workflows.
  • Use AI in your daily design practice to accelerate research, exploration, copywriting, prototyping, and testing.

Requirements:

  • 4-8 years of experience designing and shipping digital products.
  • Strong in-house product design experience within cross-functional teams.
  • Proven experience designing SaaS products used by businesses.
  • Strong experience with complex web applications and interactive workflows.
  • Experience designing for technical, enterprise, or developer-focused users.
  • Demonstrated experience designing AI-first / AI-native products.
  • Strong UX, interaction design, information architecture, and visual design skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in Figma and modern prototyping tools.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with PMs, engineers, and customers.
  • A portfolio that demonstrates problem-solving, design thinking, trade-offs, and outcomes, not just polished screens.
  • A willingness to use AI as an everyday part of the design process.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with data, analytics, developer tools, infrastructure, or technical SaaS products.
  • Experience designing products involving AI agents, automation, or autonomous workflows.
  • Strong understanding of UX patterns for trust, transparency, control, and error recovery in AI products.
  • Experience building or scaling design systems.
  • Experience working closely with engineering on complex technical constraints.
  • Experience using AI tools to rapidly build functional prototypes.
  • Experience conducting usability testing and using product analytics to drive design decisions.
  • Strong interest in the intersection of AI, data, and enterprise software.
