About the role
Requirements:
- Diploma or Engineering Degree (Industrial, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering preferred).
- 8-10 years of experience in Supplier Quality Development within a manufacturing environment.
- Automotive industry experience preferred.
- Expertise in one or more areas such as Metal Casting, Welding, Stamping, Plastic Moulding, Electronics, or Complex Assembly.
- Basic knowledge of ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 (Internal Auditor qualification preferred).
- Experience conducting audits.
- Proficiency in MS Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Project).
- Exposure to the Vehicle Launch Process will be an added advantage.
Key Skills:
- Strong understanding of automotive quality tools, including APQP, PPAP, FMEA, Control Plan, 8D, SPC, and MSA.
- Experience in auditing processes/systems as per IATF 16949 VDA 6.1/6.3 or OEM-specific standards.
- Knowledge of capacity assessment and constraint management.
- Strong project management and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to train and mentor teams.
- Comfortable working in a matrix organisation structure.
