We are seeking a seasoned Senior SAP BW Consultant with 6 to 9 years of experience to lead both the development and operational stability of our global SAP BW platform. This senior position seamlessly combines backend data architecture, complex modeling, and production support oversight.

In this role, you will lead end-to-end enhancement delivery (Change Requests) while ensuring high system performance, robust process chain execution, and strict transport governance. Additionally, you will play a critical role in guiding technical knowledge transfers, supporting crucial financial closing cycles, and partnering with downstream reporting teams to deliver a unified enterprise data experience.

• End-to-End Development & Modeling: Architect and build/enhance SAP BW models and cubes (including ADSOs, CompositeProviders, transformations, and DTPs) supporting critical financial subject areas (e.g., Cash Flow, Inventory, AR/AP, and COPA).
• Release & Change Governance: Oversee the end-to-end Change Request (CR) lifecycle—directing the analysis, technical design, custom ABAP/AMDP routine writing, testing, transport, and deployment phases.
• Production Operations & Service Delivery: Lead AMS operations, monitoring scheduled process chains (RSPC, CCMS, Solman), troubleshooting SLA incidents, and managing system performance through tuning, PSA cleanup, and archiving strategies.
• Transition & Knowledge Management: Act as the technical lead for knowledge transfer (KT) initiatives (including incumbent/vendor transitions) and establish best-in-class technical documentation.
• Critical Cycle Support: Lead technical preparations and safeguard system stability during time-critical business periods (such as monthly financial closes and annual business planning cycles).
• Data Integration & Collaboration: Govern data extraction pipelines from ECC and S/4HANA sources and coordinate integration touchpoints with downstream platforms (such as SAP Analytics Cloud and Power BI).

• Professional Experience: 6 to 9 years of hands-on technical experience in SAP BW / BW4HANA in both active development and production support (AMS) environments.
• Modeling & Architecture Expertise: Advanced capability in constructing and tuning BW cubes, ADSOs, CompositeProviders, and complex data flows.
• Advanced Coding & Performance Tuning: Proficiency in writing ABAP/AMDP routines for custom transformations, query optimizations, and data extraction.
• Operations & Governance: Solid understanding of transport management, security authorizations, process chain troubleshooting, and ITIL incident/problem management processes.
• Technical Leadership: Demonstrated ability to drive vendor-to-vendor transitions, govern team documentation, and lead technical alignment with cross-functional IT partners.

• Automotive & Financial Domain: Background in automotive financial reporting
• Downstream Reporting Integration: Exposure to configuring and optimizing BW connections to SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), Power BI, or SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).
