About the Role:

We are looking for an experiencedSenior Snowflake Data Engineerto design, develop, and optimize scalable data solutions within enterprise environments. The role is hands-on and focuses on building reliable data pipelines, modernizing data workloads, and improvingSnowflake performance and cost efficiency.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise inSnowflake, advanced SQL, Python, Snowpark, and modern data engineering practices, along with experience working in cloud-based enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalabledata pipelines and ELT/ETL workflowswithin Snowflake.
• Build data solutions usingSQL, Python, Snowpark, dbt, and Snowflake-native capabilities.
• Modernize existing pipelines usingset-based processing, incremental loading, and reusable engineering patterns.
• Develop solutions usingDynamic Tables, Streams, Tasks, and stored procedures.
• Optimize Snowflake performance and costs through query tuning, warehouse sizing, clustering, workload management, and auto-suspend/resume.
• Develop orchestration, dependency management, monitoring, error handling, and recovery mechanisms.
• Design and maintain dimensional, relational, and domain-oriented data models.
• Implement data-quality checks, testing, observability, lineage, and documentation.
• Integrate batch and real-time data using tools such asFivetran, Kafka, Airflow, or similar technologies.
• Collaborate with architects, DevOps teams, analysts, and stakeholders to deliver production-ready solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, estimation, and Agile delivery.

Required Qualifications:

• 7+ years of experience in Data Engineering, including significant hands-on Snowflake experience.
• AdvancedSQLskills, including complex transformations, query optimization, and stored procedures.
• StrongPythondevelopment experience for data processing and automation.
• Hands-on experience withSnowpark, Dynamic Tables, Streams, and Tasks.
• Proven experience building and supporting production-gradeELT/ETL pipelines.
• Strong understanding of Snowflake performance and cost optimization.
• Experience withdata modeling, incremental processing, orchestration, and dependency management.
• Experience withdbtor a comparable data transformation framework.
• Experience with at least one major cloud platform:AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience withGit, CI/CD, automated testing, and modern software development practices.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience withFivetran, Kafka, Airflow, or similar tools.
• Familiarity withTerraformor Infrastructure-as-Code.
• Experience withSnowflake Iceberg Tablesor modern lakehouse architectures.
• Exposure toSnowflake Cortex, including Cortex Analyst, Cortex Search, or Cortex LLM functions.
• Experience with business continuity and disaster recovery strategies.
• SnowPro Core or SnowPro Advanced certification.
