About the role

Zeta develops cloud-native mobile-first banking and payment platforms. Most banking systems in use aren’t designed for this scale and needs of the internet-enabled consumers. In many ways, these systems are limiting the imagination of the key stakeholders at the banks. We want this changed fundamentally.
An integral component in the payment journey is the mobile app. @Zeta we build multiple mobile applications for our multiple banking partners. In addition, we have a bunch of SDKs which we provide to our customers so that they integrate our banking stack onto their mobile applications.What is the Job like?

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features

Solve challenges that are unique to an international payments domain app

Write extremely modular code which eventually helps in shipping multiple apps and SDKs for different use cases

Ship features that are a delight to use and code that’s a delight to read

Participate actively in recruitment and training processes and mentor others as you grow.

Who should apply for this role?

5+ years of relevant experience in Android development.

Experience in shipping one or more Android apps, ideally currently available on the Play Store.

Personal projects that show an aptitude for engineering and product sense.

Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies.

Ability to work in areas outside of your usual comfort zone and get things done quickly.
