About the role
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test, and maintain Java-based applications.
- Build scalable RESTful APIs and Microservices.
- Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and frontend teams.
- Optimize application performance and troubleshoot production issues.
- Write clean, reusable, and efficient code following best practices.
- Participate in code reviews and technical discussions.
- Implement security and data protection standards.
- Work with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance.
- Prepare technical documentation and deployment guides.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 9+ years of hands-on experience in Java development.
- Strong knowledge of Java 8 features.
- Experience with Spring Framework, Spring Boot, and Hibernate/JPA.
- Good understanding of Microservices architecture.
- Expertise in REST APIs and web services.
- Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
- Familiarity with Kafka/RabbitMQ messaging systems.
- Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with Git, Maven/Gradle, and Jenkins.
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
