Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Senior Backend Engineer with strong expertise in Python, Azure Cloud, Microservices, Distributed Systems, and scalable backend architecture.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience developing high-performance cloud-native applications, building RESTful APIs, optimizing databases, and designing reliable distributed systems. Exposure to Generative AI, RAG pipelines, and LLM integrations will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable backend applications using Python, FastAPI, and Flask.

• Build high-performance microservices and RESTful/gRPC APIs.

• Develop and deploy cloud-native applications on Microsoft Azure.

• Design distributed systems and event-driven architectures.

• Work with PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, and Redis.

• Implement asynchronous processing and messaging using Kafka, RabbitMQ, or Azure Event Hubs.

• Optimize backend performance, scalability, caching, and concurrency.

• Implement containerized deployments using Docker and Kubernetes.

• Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation.

• Develop secure APIs using OAuth2, OIDC, authentication, and encryption best practices.

• Implement monitoring, logging, tracing, and application observability.

• Participate in architecture reviews, technical discussions, and mentoring junior engineers.

• Support the integration of AI-powered backend services and LLM applications.

Mandatory Technical Skills

• 7+ years of backend development experience.

• Strong hands-on expertise in Python, FastAPI, and Flask.

• Microservices architecture and REST API development.

• Microsoft Azure Cloud Services.

• Distributed Systems and Event-Driven Architecture.

• PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, and Redis.

• Kafka, RabbitMQ, or Azure Event Hubs.

• Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD.

• System Design, Scalability, and Performance Optimization.

• Strong problem-solving and debugging capabilities.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Generative AI, RAG, and LLM Integration.

• Vector Databases and AI-powered applications.

• Azure Certifications.

• AWS or GCP experience.

• React, React Native, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
