About the role
We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer with strong expertise in Blockchain, Golang, Cosmos SDK, and DevOps to build and manage scalable blockchain infrastructure and decentralised applications. The ideal candidate should be a hands-on developer with a passion for writing high-quality code, solving complex engineering problems, and building production-grade blockchain solutions. This role is ideal for someone who is technically strong and aspires to grow into a Technical Lead role, taking ownership of projects, mentoring engineers, and driving technical decisions over time.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain blockchain applications using Golang and Cosmos SDK.
- Build and manage blockchain nodes, validators, and network infrastructure.
- Develop REST/gRPC APIs and backend services.
- Manage Kubernetes-based deployments and CI/CD pipelines.
- Automate infrastructure using Terraform, Docker, Helm, and cloud platforms.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable blockchain solutions.
- Troubleshoot production issues and optimise system performance.
- Take ownership of technical deliverables and contribute to architecture and design discussions.
- Mentor junior engineers and gradually take on technical leadership responsibilities.
Requirements:
- 4-5 years of software development experience.
- Strong proficiency in Golang with a solid software engineering background.
- Hands-on experience with Cosmos SDK, Tendermint/CometBFT, and blockchain architecture.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, Terraform, Jenkins/GitHub Actions.
- Strong knowledge of Linux, networking, distributed systems, and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure).
- Experience with Git, CI/CD, monitoring (Prometheus/Grafana), and scripting.
- Strong problem-solving skills and excellent communication.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Ethereum, EVM, or Hyperledger.
- Knowledge of blockchain security and validator operations.
- Exposure to smart contracts and Web3 ecosystems.
- Experience contributing to open-source blockchain projects.
- Prior experience mentoring developers or leading technical initiatives is a plus.
Mandatory:
- Hands-on production experience with Golang, Cosmos SDK, Blockchain Development, and DevOps.
- Strong development mindset with a passion for building scalable products.
- Leadership potential with an interest in growing into a Technical Lead role in the future.
- Profiles with only academic, training, or proof-of-concept experience will not be considered.
