About the role
We're looking for a frontend engineer who can turn evolving AI capabilities into intuitive, reliable product experiences, and who enjoys owning problems rather than implementing tickets. This is not a role focused only on building screens.
Responsibilities:
- Own multi-sprint frontend initiatives from problem framing through design, implementation, rollout, and production ownership.
- Turn ambiguous product and AI capabilities into clear, performant, and maintainable frontend experiences.
- Design and maintain scalable frontend architecture: state management, component systems, performance.
- Build interfaces that handle dynamic AI-generated content, streaming responses, and asynchronous workflows.
- Work with Microfrontends and Module Federation to structure and scale large frontend applications.
- Partner closely with product, design, backend, and AI engineers.
- Raise engineering standards through code reviews, design discussions, and mentoring.
Requirements:
- 5-8 years of professional frontend development experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, React, and Angular.
- Strong understanding of browser behaviour, HTML, CSS, networking, and frontend performance.
- Hands-on experience building AI-powered applications or AI-driven user experiences.
- Hands-on experience with Microfrontends and Module Federation.
- Strong understanding of state management, reusable component systems, and scalable UI design.
- Comfortable with APIs, async workflows, real-time/streaming data, and complex application states.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Good to have:
- Experience designing interaction patterns for streaming UIs, agent workflows, or human-in-the-loop systems.
- Experience with shared design systems or large component libraries.
- Early-stage startup experience, building products from scratch.
- Familiarity with frontend observability (error tracking, performance monitoring, session replay).
- Experience working with backend and AI teams on API contracts and real-time workflows.
