Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced POD Test Lead to lead the testing efforts for a delivery pod supporting the migration of a Loyalty application from legacy systems to Salesforce The role will be responsible for planning coordinating and executing functional automation and API testing activities while working closely with business development and integration teams to ensure highquality releases
The ideal candidate should have strong handson experience with Playwright Automation Salesforce testing API validation and Agile delivery practices
Key Responsibilities
1 Test Planning Coordination
Own endtoend testing activities for the assigned pod
Participate in requirement reviews sprint planning and backlog grooming sessions
Prepare test estimates test plans and execution schedules aligned with sprint and release timelines
Coordinate testing activities with developers business analysts and dependent teams
2 Automation Testing
Design develop and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright
Create reusable automation components and regression test suites
Ensure automation coverage for Salesforce UI APIs and critical business workflows
Support execution of automated tests within CICD pipelines
3 Salesforce Testing
Validate Salesforce functionality custom objects Lightning UI workflows and integrations
Perform functional regression and endtoend testing across Salesforce modules
Ensure business requirements are accurately implemented and tested
4 API Testing
Validate REST and SOAP APIs supporting Salesforce integrations
Verify requestresponse payloads authentication mechanisms error handling and data accuracy
Automate API test scenarios using Playwright and associated testing tools
5 Defect Management
Track prioritize and manage defects through their lifecycle using JIRA or Azure DevOps
Facilitate defect triage discussions with development and business teams
Ensure timely closure and retesting of identified defects
Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve quality issues and minimize release risk
6 Team Collaboration Mentoring
Guide and support QA engineers within the pod
Promote testing best practices and automation adoption
Work closely with onsite and offshore team members to ensure smooth delivery
Assist in UAT support and release validation activities
Required Skills Experience
Automation Testing
6 years of QA experience with at least 2 years in a Test Lead or Senior Automation QA role
Strong handson experience with Playwright Automation Framework
Experience in UI API and regression test automation
Salesforce Testing
Understanding of Salesforce functionality custom objects workflows and Lightning Experience
Experience testing Salesforce customizations integrations and business processes
API Testing
Strong experience testing REST and SOAP APIs
Handson experience with Playwright API Testing Postman or equivalent tools
Strong understanding of integration testing methodologies
