About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Backend Developer with strong experience in Java and Spring Boot to build scalable and reliable backend systems for US-based logistics clients.
You will work closely with the backend, frontend, DevOps and product teams, while also interacting directly with customers to understand requirements and deliver customized solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and scale backend applications using Java & Spring Boot
- Build and maintain REST APIs for logistics platforms
- Design and optimize databases using MariaDB
- Work with JPA/Hibernate
- Debug, troubleshoot and optimize application performance
- Contribute to system design and architecture
- Collaborate with Backend, Frontend, Product and DevOps teams
- Interact directly with US-based clients for requirements and solutions
- Ensure code quality, scalability, security and reliability
Must-Have Skills
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in Java backend development
- Strong proficiency in Spring Boot
- Experience with JPA/Hibernate
- Strong knowledge of MariaDB / SQL
- Experience building REST APIs
- Good understanding of database schema design and query optimization
- Experience with Git
- Agile development experience
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
