About the role
We are looking for a Senior SQL Developer with 8+ years of experience in SQL Server and T-SQL development, preferably with experience in the mutual fund/trading/capital markets/financial services domain.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and optimize T-SQL queries, stored procedures, views, functions, and triggers.
- Perform query tuning, indexing, execution plan analysis, and performance optimization.
- Handle data migration, transformation, porting, validation, and reconciliation.
- Troubleshoot database and production / UAT issues.
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, consistency, and security.
- Work with developers, BAs, QA teams, and business stakeholders.
- Independently own database development and optimization activities.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, engineering, or a related field.
Mandatory Skills:
- SQL Server and T-SQL.
- Stored Procedures, Functions, Triggers, Views, and SQL Jobs.
- Complex SQL Queries and Data Manipulation.
- Query Performance Tuning and Optimization.
- Indexing, Execution Plans, and Partitioning.

- Version Control / Git.
- Database Security and Data Integrity.
Domain Knowledge:
- Trading / Mutual Fund / Capital Markets experience preferred.
- Understanding of financial transactions, reporting, reconciliation, and business processes.
