About the role
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Senior Structural Designer to join our Engineering team, specializing in Marine, Offshore, and Oil & Gas projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing, detailing, analyzing, and reviewing structural designs and drawings for complex engineering projects while ensuring compliance with industry standards and guiding junior designers.
Key Responsibilities
Create, detail, and review structural drawings using AutoCAD.
Provide guidance to junior designers in design and drafting tasks.
Ensure accuracy and compliance with industry standards, regulations, and project specifications.
Collaborate with project teams on offshore, marine, and oil & gas structures.
Independently manage assigned tasks, prioritize deliverables, and ensure timely completion.
Requirements
Diploma / B.Tech in Mechanical or Structural Engineering.
6+ years of relevant experience in structural design.
Strong knowledge of Class Rules, regulations, and international standards.
Expertise in steel and aluminum structures, including structural detailing.
Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and advanced drafting techniques.
Experience with 3D CAD modelling software is an advantage.
Exposure to Marine, Offshore, or Oil & Gas industries is preferred.
