Senior Test Engineer

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Software Tester (C# SDET) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in C# development and a passion for quality assurance. You will be responsible for writing and maintaining test cases for web applications, automating functional tests using Selenium with C#, and implementing BDD scenarios. Your expertise in API testing and automation will be crucial in ensuring the reliability and performance of our applications.

• Write and maintain comprehensive test cases for web applications to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Utilize Selenium with C# to automate functional tests, enhancing testing efficiency and coverage.
• Implement Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) scenarios using SpecFlow/ReqNRoll to facilitate collaboration between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Conduct API test automation using RestSharp and perform API testing with tools such as Postman, Bruno, or Mabl.
• Engage in thorough testing of NoSQL databases, specifically MongoDB, to validate data integrity and performance.
• Utilize messaging systems like Kafka or RabbitMQ to ensure seamless communication between services.
• Participate in performance testing using tools like JMeter or other relevant tools to assess application scalability and responsiveness.
• Test and report bugs, ensuring they are tracked to closure in a timely manner.
• Guide and mentor project team members in technical aspects, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
• Collaborate effectively within an Agile development environment, contributing to sprint planning and retrospectives.

• Proficient in C# development with a strong focus on software testing.
• Extensive experience with Selenium for test automation.
• Solid understanding of API testing methodologies and tools.
• Familiarity with NoSQL databases, particularly MongoDB.
• Knowledge of messaging systems such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Strong design thinking and technical problem-solving skills.
• Ability to mentor and guide team members in technical areas.
• Experience in Agile development practices.

• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration.
• Familiarity with Splunk for monitoring and logging.
• Knowledge of .NET Core framework.
• Experience in performance testing using JMeter or similar tools.
• Understanding of database management and optimization techniques.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven track record in software testing and quality assurance.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
