About the role
Responsibilities:
- Own the end-to-end UX of the Contify platform: information architecture, user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and final UI.
- Plan and run user research: interviews, usability tests, and workflow observation with enterprise customers across geographies.
- Define success metrics for design changes, work with product on analytics instrumentation, and use funnels, usage data, and A/B tests to validate and iterate.
- Own and evolve the Contify design system.
- Enforce consistency across components, patterns, states, and copy. Work daily with front-end engineers.
- Write clear specs, review builds against design, and adjust designs to technical constraints without losing the user goal.
- Partner with product managers on prioritization, bringing user evidence to roadmap discussions.
- Mentor and grow junior designers through critiques, reviews, and hands-on coaching.
- Simplify complex workflows: dashboards, search, alerts, reports, and AI-driven features for data-heavy B2B users.
Requirements:
- 10+ years in UX design, with 5+ years on modern SaaS products sold to international (US/European) customers.
- Experience in a fast-paced product development environment with frequent releases.
- A portfolio that shows process, not just screens: the research behind decisions, the metrics used, and the outcomes achieved.
- Hands-on experience building or maintaining a design system at scale, with a track record of keeping a product consistent.
- Strong command of research methods: user interviews, usability testing, journey mapping, and synthesis into actionable insights.
- Comfort with product analytics tools (e.g., Mixpanel, Amplitude, GA4, Hotjar) and with making decisions from data.
- Working knowledge of front-end development (HTML, CSS, component-based frameworks such as React) and its constraints.
- Expert in Figma, including components, variants, auto layout, and developer handoff.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- You can defend a design with evidence and change your mind when the data says so.
- A strong educational background from a reputed design, HCI, or engineering institution, and a habit of continuous learning.
Nice To Have:
- Experience designing data-heavy B2B products: analytics, intelligence, research, or enterprise search tools.
- Experience designing AI-driven interfaces such as summarization, chat, or recommendations.
