About the role
The SEO Executive (Freelancer) plays a crucial role in improving the online visibility of the organization through effective search engine optimization strategies. This role is essential in driving organic traffic to the website and achieving high search engine rankings.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct keyword research and analysis to guide content optimization
- Optimize website content, meta tags, and on-page elements for maximum visibility
- Implement link building strategies to enhance the website's authority
- Monitor and report on organic search performance using Google Analytics and other tools
- Stay updated on SEO best practices and algorithm changes
- Collaborate with content creators to ensure SEO best practices are followed
- Identify and fix technical SEO issues on the website
- Create and optimize landing pages for search engine marketing campaigns
- Conduct competitor analysis to identify opportunities and threats
- Participate in the development of SEO strategies and goals
- Track, analyze, and report on SEO performance metrics
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field, or equivalent work experience
- Proven experience as an SEO Executive or similar role
- Hands-on experience with SEO tools such as Google Analytics, SEMrush, and Moz
- Understanding of search engine algorithms and ranking methods
- Excellent knowledge of on-page and off-page SEO techniques
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good understanding of content management systems and HTML
- Experience with A/B and multivariate experiments
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in SEO and SEM
