Server data analyst

The Server Data Analyst is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of server-related data within the Configuration Management Database (CMDB). Through systematic analysis and collaboration, they will identify discrepancies, correct tagging inaccuracies, and strengthen the alignment between CMDB data and operational insights. 

• Conduct a thorough review of server data in the CMDB to identify and correct inaccuracies in tagging. 
• Collaborate with the CMDB team to facilitate data cleanup efforts. 
• Log into Windows and Linux servers to verify group access, including RDP and SSH. 
• Navigate to the access screen on servers to gather necessary data. 
• Utilize Excel to piece together data, including the use of simple macros, to compare CMDB data with ServiceReach data. 
• Identify discrepancies and provide insights on what our team truly supports based on the data analysis. 
• Communicate findings clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing.
