About the role
Responsibilities:
- Build and ship production-ready software using AI as a core part of the engineering lifecycle.
- Apply AI-native practices to develop and validate solutions, maintain quality and compliance, and continuously improve how software is built and operated.
- Develop AI-enabled features on ServiceNow (Now Assist, Virtual Agent, AI Search) using App Engine Studio, Flow Designer, and IntegrationHub.
- Implement agentic patterns for workflow automation and developer assistance.
- Author prompts and evaluators that contribute to RAG strategies and testing frameworks.
- Collaborate in agile pods with architects and product owners and participate in sprints and code reviews.
- Apply Responsible AI principles and follow secure engineering practices.
Requirements:
- Must have skills: ServiceNow AI Developer.
- Good-to-have skills: NA.
- A minimum of 6-10 years of experience is required.
- Educational Qualification: 15 years of full-time education.
- Strong fundamentals in JavaScript, REST APIs, and ServiceNow platform development.
- Familiarity with ServiceNow App Engine, Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, and Scoped Applications.
- Understanding of LLMs, prompt engineering, and evaluation metrics.
- Knowledge of Virtual Agent, AI Search Tuning, and Now Assist configuration.
- Exposure to ServiceNow data models, UI policies, business rules, and client scripts.
- Awareness of integration patterns (SOAP/REST), MID Server, and authentication mechanisms (OAuth, SAML).
- Basic understanding of RAG concepts, vector search, and orchestration frameworks.
