About the role
Requirements:
- A minimum of 5 years' proven experience delivering complex technical change within data, digital, or technology-led environments.
- Understanding of data platform methodologies and architecture approaches (Kimball, Inmon, Data Vault, Data Mesh, Data Products, Lakehouse, etc. )
- The ability to document architectural designs in the form of conceptual, logical and physical models.
- Ability to discuss enterprise data and the impact on a business, including master data management, data quality, data literacy and initiatives such as single customer view.
- Ability to present technical solutions in a way that engages both technical and non- technical stakeholders.
- Technical Skills: Microsoft Azure, Databricks, Snowflake, Microsoft Fabric, Azure Synapse Analytics, Data Engineering, Data Modelling, Data Strategy / Governance, Data Visualisation, Data Science / AI, DevOps / Cloud Infrastructure, Application Integration.
- Experienced in the delivery of complex data and AI solutions.
- Strategic and operational decision-making skills.
- Ability to guide, direct or influence people.
- Ability to identify opportunities and issues.
- Willingness to learn based on feedback.
- Able to help others develop.
- Willingness to stay up to date with the latest trends, technologies and best practices.
- Experience working within agile, fast-moving environments.
- Education and certifications: SnowPro Advanced: Data Engineer, SnowPro Advanced: Architect.
