About the role
Responsibilities:
- Build and ship scoped product features across app/web, API, and data layers.
- Translate product and design intent into complete flows, including loading, empty, error, and retry states.
- Debug across client, network, backend, and data layers.
- Write useful tests, review your own code, and verify behavior before handoff.
- Use user feedback and product metrics to understand whether releases worked.
- Use AI coding tools responsibly while remaining accountable for the code shipped.
- Communicate blockers early, ask precise questions, and act on feedback.
Requirements:
- Java, Node.js, Go, Python, or another backend language.
- At least one real software project, internship deliverable, freelance product, or meaningful open-source contribution.
- Readable coding skills and ability to reason through bugs without blindly relying on autocomplete or AI.
- Experience across at least two layers: mobile/web, backend/API, database, or deployment.
- Strong product sense and awareness of user experience.
- Ability to move quickly while testing work and taking ownership of mistakes.
- Ability to explain personal contribution, trade-offs, and improvements.
- Comfort working in person in Jayanagar, Bengaluru.
