About the role
Responsibilities:
- Develop cutting-edge TV video streaming for Samsung TV, LG TV, Xbox, and PlayStation devices using the LightningJS Framework.
- Keep up to date on the latest industry trends and device/OS/IDE updates.
- Optimize performance and stability as well as nonfunctional aspects such as logging.
- Build slick UI/UX interfaces with a focus on usability features and pixel-perfect implementation.
- Deliver app solutions across the entire app life cycleprototype to build to test to launch to support.
- Responsible for the technical design and development of advanced video streaming consumer applications with multiple backend integrations.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of total experience.
- Hands-on experience with LightningJS.
- Hands-on experience with ReactJS or native mobile application development for Android or iOS.
- Experience with TypeScript.
- Prior team-leading experience/potential to lead a team.
- Experience in at least two of the following: creating custom UI controls, high-performing API integrations, advanced state management, cross-device support, or performance optimizations.
- Knowledge of REST APIs and industry-standard SDK integrations preferred.
- Experience in JIRA and Confluence.
- Experience in Agile, Continuous Integration, and Test-Driven Development.
- Working knowledge of JavaScript web frameworks and applying these to video streaming or e-commerce applications is preferred.
