Oracle PL/SQL Developer
We are seeking an experienced Oracle PL/SQL Developer to join our development team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Oracle database development, PL/SQL programming, Shell scripting, and Python. This role will also be actively involved in cloud migration, application modernization, automation, and transformation initiatives, helping drive the migration of enterprise applications to modern cloud platforms.
The Main Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain Oracle PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, triggers, and complex SQL queries.
- Design, develop, and optimize database solutions for performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Develop automation scripts using Shell and Python.
- Participate in cloud migration and application modernization initiatives.
- Support data migration, integration, and batch processing activities.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application and database issues.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, deployments, and production support.
- Collaborate with developers, DBAs, infrastructure teams, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.
Required Skills:
- Strong experience in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL development.
- Proficiency in Shell scripting (Unix/Linux).
- Hands-on experience with Python.
- Database performance tuning and query optimization.
- Experience with Git/version control systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps.
- Experience working in cloud environments (Azure, AWS, or GCP) is an added advantage.
- Exposure to cloud migration, modernization, and automation initiatives.
- Experience working in Agile environments.
