About the role
We are looking for a Software Development Engineer - Golang who enjoys building scalable, high-performance backend systems and solving real-world engineering problems in a fast-paced product environment. You will work on core backend systems powering consumer-facing AI products, with ownership across development, performance, reliability, and production engineering.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Golang.
- Build robust REST APIs and backend systems for consumer-facing products.
- Work with databases, distributed systems, and cloud infrastructure.
- Design and build production-grade backend services with a focus on scalability and reliability.
- Troubleshoot performance and reliability issues and drive system improvements.
- Write clean, maintainable, and production-ready code.
- Collaborate closely with product, engineering, and cross-functional teams.
Requirements:
- 3-5 years of backend development experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with Golang.
- Good understanding of REST APIs, databases, data structures, and backend architecture.
- Experience building and deploying production-grade backend services.
- Strong problem-solving, debugging, and system-design skills.
- Experience working in a product/startup environment is preferred.
- Strong ownership mindset and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
