About the role
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement multiple large-scale mobile applications with React Native in a fast-paced environment.
- Build pixel-perfect, smooth UIs across both mobile platforms.
- Leverage native APIs for deep integrations with both platforms.
- Diagnose and fix bugs and performance bottlenecks for an experience on par with native applications.
- Participate in SDLC processes, streamlining, POC development, Functional Estimation, Performance Tuning, environment setup, etc.
- Set up best practices for development and champion their adoption.
- Mentor young minds and foster team spirit.
- Should be able to do app profiling for a smooth user experience.
Requirements:
- 1-2 years of experience building mobile applications.
- Proficient with React Native with a minimum of 1 year of experience.
- Experience in developing and delivering large-scale Android and iOS mobile applications via React Native.
- Hands-on experience with React Query or a similar library.
- Ability to work through new and complex React Native issues and contribute to libraries as needed.
- Engineers who are obsessed with optimisations and are ready to go the extra mile to deliver the best app experience to the customers.
- Firm grasp of the JavaScript language and its nuances, including ES6+ syntax and TypeScript.
- Experience in writing unit testing code with libraries like Jest, Enzyme, Jasmine, Mocha, etc.
- Experience in at least one native platform, Android (Java/ Kotlin) or iOS
- Good knowledge of monitoring and tracking down app crashes and bugs using advanced tools.
- Worked in a startup environment with high levels of ownership and commitment.
