About the role

Responsibilities:

Build and ship product features end-to-end, from technical design through production.
Develop backend services using Java and Spring Boot, with a focus on scalability, reliability, and performance.
Design and integrate REST APIs and microservices.
Contribute to frontend development using React and JavaScript.
Write clean, maintainable, well-tested, and production-ready code.
Debug and resolve technical issues across development and production environments.
Take ownership of assigned features and drive them from development to deployment.
Participate in code reviews, testing, debugging, and continuous improvement.
Work closely with product, design, and engineering teams to translate requirements into effective technical solutions.
Use AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity and problem-solving.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, with 2-5 years of hands-on software development experience.
Strong programming fundamentals in Java and hands-on experience with Spring Boot.
Good understanding of REST APIs, backend development, and microservices.
Working knowledge of React and JavaScript.
Experience with SQL or NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
Strong problem-solving, debugging, and software engineering fundamentals.
Experience building and maintaining production software and handling real-world technical issues.
Experience with Git and modern development workflows.
Strong ownership mindset with the ability to take features from development through production.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced product environment.
Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools and their use in day-to-day engineering workflows.
