About the role
Responsibilities:
- Design and build AI-first applications using Node.js or Python, among other major programming languages.
- Build and optimise APIs and workflows that handle high throughput and low latency.
- Participate in system design decisions around data models, queues, caching, and reliability.
- Set up testing, monitoring, and performance tracking.
- Own services end-to-end in production - from development to debugging.
Requirements:
- 4+ years of Strong fundamentals in backend development and distributed systems.
- Experience working with cloud infrastructure and real-time data systems.
- Ability to simplify complex operational workflows into reliable software.
- Comfort working in a fast-moving engineering environment.
- Top-tier bachelor's or master's degree in engineering from top institutes only. Computer science background is preferred.
- Demonstrated ownership and core product contributions.
