Job Summary – NET Developer (medior +)

For our client,

The role will be the primary technical contributor of the .NET backend platform. Reporting to the Chapter Lead, the role is responsible for designing, building, testing, and maintaining backend side of project in .NET language and related technologies. The developer will work inside an Agile squad together with a Product Owner, Scrum Master, Architecture, Business Analyst, QA/Test Engineer and will interface regularly with 24 × 7 support, Release Management and other downstream teams. The incumbent will also lead initiatives that require cross‑team coordination, ensuring that the Java solution remains robust, scalable, and aligned with the organization’s digital‑transformation goals.

Years of experience needed – 7.1-9 years

Technical Skills:

• .NET framework, related technologies, Microservices technologies
• Build web solutions with ASP.NET Core MVC, Web API, and React, following modern design patterns
• Implement data access using ORMs (Entity Framework Core, Dapper, ADO.NET)
• Maintain and enhance desktop applications (WinForms) where needed
• Deploy and manage applications in cloud environments (IBM Cloud/dMZR) using Docker and Kubernetes
• Containerization technologies (Docker), Cloud technologies (K8s), Helm charts, CaaS,
• SQL & relational databases, Object DB (e.g., PostgreSQL, Oracle, SQL Server) is a plus
• Support and improve CI/CD pipelines and understand the full build & deployment lifecycle
• Monitoring & logging tools (Dynatrace, Splunk, ELK)
• Understanding of security standards (OAuth2, SAML, GDPR, SOC2)

Direct Responsibilities:

• · Architect, code, test, and deploy C#/. NET FW & .NET services and APIs for insurance platforms (policy administration, claims processing, underwriting).
• Participating in code refactoring and code reviews
• Implement microservices, event-driven architectures, and cloud-native solutions (dMZR) to support Cardif’s digital transformation.
• Optimize application performance, troubleshoot production issues, and ensure high availability (99.9% uptime) for critical insurance systems.
• Very close collaboration with Tech Lead, Tribe Tech Lead and other backend Developers and colleagues within the team
• Definition, implementation and update of control framework for business operations and processes with resource’s area of responsibility
• Day-to-day management of risks (identification, measurement, monitoring, mitigation techniques proposing, reporting) belonging to the responsibility of the department and resource’s area of responsibility.
• Enforce coding standards, security best practices, and regulatory compliance (e.g., GDPR, Solvency II).
