About the role
We are looking for an engineer with expertise in EV powertrain systems, power electronics, and embedded systems to support design, validation, and subsystem development.
Responsibilities:
- Analyse and improve existing EV powertrain and power electronics systems.
- Suggest or design alternate components for battery systems, controllers, and power modules.
- Develop requirements for embedded systems such as BCM, DCM, HVAC controllers, and cluster displays.
- Work with CAN/CAN-FD networks for diagnostics and integration.
- Support system architecture and telematics integration.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Required Skills:
- Strong understanding of EV powertrain architecture.
- Experience in power electronics (DC-DC, inverters, and controllers).
- Embedded systems experience (microcontrollers, communication protocols).
- Working knowledge of CAN/CAN-FD.
Preferred:
- Experience in EV buses or commercial EV platforms.
- Exposure to BMS and battery safety systems.
- Familiarity with automotive standards and diagnostics.
