About the role
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain solutions using the IBM FileNet P8 platform.
- Configure and customise FileNet components such as Content Engine (CE), Process Engine (PE), and Case Manager.
- Develop and manage workflows, business processes, and document lifecycle management.
- Integrate FileNet with external applications using APIs, web services (SOAP/REST), and middleware.
- Perform system configuration, deployment, and environment setup.
- Troubleshoot performance issues and optimise FileNet applications.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Ensure compliance with enterprise security, governance, and data management policies.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and documentation.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
- Strong hands-on experience with the IBM FileNet P8 platform.
- Experience with FileNet components such as Content Engine, Process Engine, Case Manager, and Workplace XT / ICN (IBM Content Navigator).
- Proficiency in Java / J2EE for customisation and integrations.
- Experience with SQL and database management (DB2 Oracle, or SQL Server).
- Knowledge of REST/SOAP APIs and system integration.
- Understanding of document management, workflow automation, and records management concepts.
- Familiarity with application servers such as WebSphere or WebLogic.
- Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and analytical skills.
