Software Engineer - Technical

We are looking for a hands-on Software Engineer to support the onboarding team in automation, cloud operations, CI/CD enablement, and application deployment activities. The role involves supporting SCPO upgrades and migrations, SCPO on-prem to SaaS transformations, J2CC environment provisioning, and partner-led implementation rollouts. The ideal candidate should have strong scripting skills, exposure to DevOps practices, a passion for automation, and an eagerness to learn cloud-native technologies.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain automation scripts and reusable components using Python, Shell Scripting, and Ansible.
• Support SCPO upgrades, migrations, SaaS onboarding activities, environment provisioning, and partner-led implementation projects.
• Build, test, troubleshoot, and support REST APIs, UI integrations, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment processes.
• Create technical documentation, runbooks, and operational procedures, and proactively troubleshoot application, infrastructure, and deployment issues.
• Collaborate with cloud and platform teams while gaining hands-on experience with Azure, Terraform, Kubernetes, and DevSecOps practices.
• Support infrastructure operations involving Linux/Windows servers, networking, storage, access management, and monitoring.

Requirements:

• 3 to 5 years of strong experience in Python scripting, shell scripting, REST APIs, Git, and automation development.
• Working knowledge of Ansible, including playbooks, roles, inventories, templates, variables, and troubleshooting.
• Understanding of infrastructure fundamentals, including Linux/Windows servers, virtualization, networking, DNS, storage, and access controls.
• Exposure to Azure cloud services, CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code concepts, and cloud-native technologies.
• Basic front-end development experience with React JS, JavaScript, and API integrations.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to learn new technologies quickly.
• Knowledge of Salesforce development concepts, UI/backend integrations, or platform administration is highly desirable.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Terraform, Kubernetes, or other cloud automation tools.
• Knowledge of ServiceNow, CMDB concepts, and ITSM processes.
• Exposure to SQL/Oracle databases and production support environments.
• Understanding of Control-M, job scheduling, monitoring, and recovery processes.
• Familiarity with Azure Key Vault, GitHub security practices, and secure coding standards.
• AI/ML exposure, Figma, Salesforce Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and relevant cloud certifications.
